Race Calendar: 2 races are coming up for timing. Pike Co. (Aug 16th) and Jasper (Aug)

Walkers: The 15K went well, with a few exceptions. The walkers expressed their Thanks for GERWC donating the money and timer. We had a Masters National record set, by Don DeNoon (Florida) in the 60-64 age group. It was 1:19:44.The SIRW and Indy Racewalkers re having a 20k at Wesselman’s in Nov. This is a State event only.

Membership: No available information

Newsletter: Will put the survey sheet in the newsletter. But cannot have a bulk mailing stamp. Members will have to stamp themselves. Everything is on a CD and should be ready by end of June. Picnic will be listed in this coming issue. The yahoo group is up in running. This will be for newsletter info only.

Picnic: Aug 17th at Wesselman’s. First shelter house has been reserved. Will have future meetings on this event. If you would like to volunteer please contact Gordon or Craig Halsey. Will need a small group to stay afterwards and help clean up. Start is same time as before.)12 noon)

Step-Up: They had a post Toyota rap up meeting. In this event they were handed a list of improvements. All on list are fairly easy to take care of too. Will probably keep date in April. Or May 8th, in place of the river run. (But this is Indy mini weekend)

Carol has Fed Ex info to a new club starting in Pakistan. 400 miles- jacket, 300 miles-backpack, 200 miles- black bag

Scholarship:2 winners! $500 each for male and female. This will be handed out on July 9th. (The next meeting) Photos will be taken for the next newsletter and the web site.

Storage- have not had time to get further info. Will have more info at the next meeting. Will vote at next meeting.

New Business:

Summer Track Program: This off to a good start. Next track event is July 3rd. At Central High. Events start at 6pm Please register by 5:30.

Otters Race- Entries in the mail. Only had list of membership names. Will check on permit. Trophies for first 50 to finish.

Vice President:No nominations at this time.

Brochure: Gordon has info but we are looking for several someone’s to help with this.

Taxes: Will file on Aug 15th. There are no taxes due.

Other: Carol will need to use the wheel, at the health dept.
