J. used for the 2006 New Year’s race is available for 2007 Race Timing 1.    Otters Stadium 5k is July 28. After discussion, it was agreed to use the 2006 course. A new fee of $200.00 is charged by the police to cross First Avenue. 2.    Mount Vernon 5k had 55 finishers and Morganfield had 90. 3.    Motion made and carried to put in place new rates for our timing services:      a.    Card timed races will be charged a minimum of $225.00 plus mileage      b.    Computer timed races will be charged $275.00 minimum plus mileage      c.    Bob Head will receive a minimum of $50.00 per race      d.    Chad Hartman will receive a minimum of $75.00 per race Web Site 1.    All items updated Banquet 1.    Bill Hussman will volunteer this year Race Management 1.    All is going well. There are 38 race volunteers on the list to date. Membership 1.    180 members to date and we continue to grow. Newsletter 1.    Article and picture deadline for the next issue is June 15 Picnic 1.    A final decision on canceling the 2007 picnic is tabled Step Up Club – no report Scholarship -  no report Summer Track Program 1.    Ready for the first meet June 14. The June 28 date is now June 27 and volunteers are needed. Special Events 1.    Pub Run will be June 20 at Swift Athletics with post run at Turoni’s on Weinbach Avenue. Grand Prix 1.    The current list was reviewed New Business 1.    Discussed new club brochure designed by Chad Hartman. Board members will approve via e mail on the design and if printing cost are favorable, copies will be mailed to Grand Prix participants who are not club members. 2.    YMCA Triathlon – The deadline for items for their race packets is August 1. 3.    Board of Directors resignation. Gordon Benfield will resign his president’s position after this year. He will be going into the race management business with Jim Bush and they plan to use the GERWC to time many of their races they feel we can handle. 4.    Bob head stated he was contacted by Billie Ferrell from the Jingle Bell 5k folks. They want to move the race and a possible site is HealthSouth on Covert Avenue. There is a planning meeting July 3, 2007 Being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pm
