• Minutes of the October 2007 meeting were approved as presented
• Financial report for October 2007was approved as presented
• Correspondence – Thank you note from Evansville Speedsters Club for our donation

Race Timing

• Thanksgiving 5k – Help is needed and it was suggested we contact all volunteers. Consensus to allow free memberships, coffee mugs, and sport bottles.
• Jingle Bell 5k – December 1 at the Old Courthouse in Evansville and volunteers are needed.
• The Ellis Park 5k held recently went well.

Membership

• One new member since last meeting

Banquet

• It was agreed there will be no speaker at the banquet
• It was suggested and approved that there will be a program modeling winter running apparel to be handled by Graham Paxton of Swift Athletics. He will also have a booth.

Newsletter

• At-Large letter writers being sought. Discussion followed

Step Up Club – no report

Scholarship – no report

Summer Track Program

• Gordon Benfield hopes that the club can continue the program next summer

Pub Runs

• Will begin for 2008 in January

Grand Prix

• The board looked over the framed awards for the 2007 winners

New Business

• Discussion concerning paying the club president $100.00 per month effective 1/1/08. No action
• Letter to go out to the membership soliciting prospects for club president.
• Discussion on the clubs Equipment Loan Agreement and results of board member survey. A final draft on all parts of the agreement will be prepared for the December meeting.
• Insuring the clubs equipment was discussed. A motion was made and carried to purchase insurance for all the equipment for 1 year at a cost of $179.00
