Kids of all ages, here is your chance to see what you can do!  The Greater Evansville Runners/Walkers Club (GERWC) will conduct a summer track program for runners of all ages.  These track meets will be held throughout the summer and are open to anyone wishing to participate.  There is no cost to you—just come to do your best and have a good time!

Dates: All meets will be held on Thursday evenings
  June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23

Location: Reitz Barker Ave. Track Complex  (705 S Barker Ave  Evansville, IN 47712) click for map 

Time:  Track opens at 5:00 p.m.
Events begin at 6:00 p.m.

Events: 50  meters   (7 & under)
  100 meters (all ages)            800 meters   (all ages)
  200 meters  (all ages)          1600 meters  (age 8 & up)
  400 meters (all ages)           3200 meters  (age 11 & up) 

Participants may enter as many events as they wish.
Registration will take place on site at each meet.
Water and Gatorade will be available.
Participants (or parent/guardian) must sign a release before competing.

Please sign the following release and bring it with you.  (Parents/guardian must sign for children under age 18.)

Release: I agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the Greater Evansville Runners/Walkers Club, the City of Evansville, the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, their respective officers, directors and agents, and all sponsors and volunteers, from and against any claim, liability or action arising out of any injury or death as the result of my participation in this event.  I further grant permission for use of my name, race results and/or photographs for publicity and purposes to promote this and future events.  This release is binding on the undersigned, his/her heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
