News and Messages for Clubs CROSSTRAINING CROSS TRAINING makes you a stronger runner or walker. This is because you will use different muscles and your whole body will become stronger. You will be allowed to count one cross training activity in your logbook for mileage each week. These are the cross training activities and their mileage equivalents allowed for the Step Up Club:
Biking for 30 minutes = 2 miles running/walking Jumping rope for 15 minutes = 2 miles running/walking Playing basketball for 30 minutes = 2 miles running/walking Swimming for 15 minutes = 2 miles running/walking Playing Soccer for 30 minutes = 2 miles running/walking
